Packaging printer for foil and plastics, Daido Shiko, in Nagoya, Japan, purchased a 7-colour Roland 500 with UV equipment during drupa 2008. One of the reasons the Japanese converter chose the Roland press is because its principal competitors are also said to be manroland customers.
