Liverpool, UK, based box producer, West Coast Corrugated, has installed a Sodeme two-piece case stitcher at its recently extended 60,000 ft2 production facility to cope with the additional capacity of the company's Massenzana printer/slotter/die cutter. Supplied by UK agent GTS (Europe) the Sodeme is specified with Nordson hot melt and in-line batcher, and can stitch or glue single or two-piece cases up to 3,200 x 2,200mm.
According to managing director Cliff Graham: "The Sodeme is just part of a £750,000 investment programme that will enable us to add 20 per cent to our annual output at a time when the overall market is shrinking".
