M-M gains in Spain

Alcan is selling its paperboard carton business in Spain to Mayr-Melnhof Iberica, a wholly owned subsidiary of Austria's Mayr-Melnhof Karton, for an undisclosed sum. The business is based in Alzira and has some 200 employees. The deal should be completed by the end of May.
