MediaLiner, from Stora Enso Speciality Papers, is a bright white graphic liner for corrugated packaging, displays and other laminates. Produced at the Stora Enso mill in Uetersen, Germany, from pure virgin fibre, it is white throughout. The resultant brightness is reinforced by a double silk coated surface.
This smooth, bright white surface is said to permit “a refreshing, clear colour reproduction in printing, allowing the use of brilliant, high resolution graphics, no matter what the basis weight and type of corrugated board or laminated material”.
In addition to outstanding visual qualities, excellent converting performance and glue absorption characteristics are also promised; and the liner is suitable for both offset and flexo, for preprint and direct printing using either sheets or reels.
MediaLiner is available in basis weights of 120, 135, 160, 190 and 220g/m².
