Leading French pharmaceutical carton supplier LGR Emballages has acquired VTK, the pharmaceutical folding cartons specialist based in Antwerp, Belgium, for an undisclosed sum.
VTK, like LGR a member of PharmaPact Alliance, had sales of €4M in 2006. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2000. Its acquisition is the fourth international venture for LGR after Policolor (Spain) in 2003, Transilvania (Romania) in 2004 and the founding of Micro-Pact European Alliance for Microflute packaging.
The LGR Emballages Group now expects to achieve sales of more than €120M this year, with 11 facilities in four countries across three activities: pharmaceutical folding cartons, microflute packaging, and luxury folding cartons.
