Lamination line lifts C-P's capacity

23 August 2010

In the USA, a new lamination line from Davis-Standard has added capacity for snack food packaging converter C-P Flexible Packaging, based in York, Pennsylvania.

The new line features custom profile control between the gauging system and flex lip die to attain very flat profiles across the web and in the machine direction. It is also wider to better support C-P’s 10-colour flexo printing capabilities.

The line, which also features new Integrator control technology and a regenerative, shaftless turret unwind splicer, produces laminated structures of extruded PE between two films including OPP and PET. The films can be clear, printed or metallised.
