Label Tech has installed an HP Indigo ws4500 digital press to help develop its products for the FMCG, pharmaceutical, IT, healthcare and Industrial sectors. Variable data and security printing services are becoming increasingly popular with customers, the Dublin based company says.
The machine will be used to develop and print “more challenging” applications for new and existing customers, with the ability to print on-demand on a wide range of substrates with personalization. Label Tech specified the most recent printing advances available on the machine, including on-the-fly colour switching.
Label Tech managing director James Costello says: “New challenges are easier to meet using up to date technology such as digital. We want to capitalize on this and offer it as a complementary technology to our existing flexo presses. The ws4500 offers great versatility and flexibility in terms of short run bespoke requirements and provides our customers with unprecedented quality, surpassing all other conventional techniques.”
