Labelexpo organizer Tarsus has launched the Labelexpo Industry Awards. To be held annually, there will be three major awards: The R Stanton Avery Award for Lifetime Achievement, sponsored by Avery Dennison; The Innovation and Service Award for Suppliers, sponsored by Labels & Labelling; Label & Narrow Web; and NarroWebTech; and The Innovation and Service Award for Converters, sponsored by four suppliers.
The inaugural 'Labelexpo Industry Awards' Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be held on September 13, 2004, during Labelexpo Americas 2004. In 2005 the ceremony will take place alongside Labelexpo Europe, and the following year alongside Labelexpo in Asia.
