Kugler-Womako

4 October 2012

Paper converting machinery specialist Kugler-Womako recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the founding of Kugler Automation by Walter Kugler in 1962. Its first product was a machine for gluing the tops of writing pads with cold glue, which was exhibited at Drupa the same year. In 1999, the company merged with Womako into Kugler-Womako. After being sold by the Körber Group, the company has been under new ownership since the beginning of the year, along with sister companies ECH Will from Hamburg and Pemco in the USA.
