Kodak European User event to focus On Creo and NexPress

25 August 2005

The first Kodak Prepress and Digital Printing Users Conference will expand on the former Creo Users Association, bringing together a worldwide community of users working with Kodak. To be held on October 4-7, in the Grand Marina Hotel, Barcelona, Spain, the event will focus on Creo and NexPress systems, with access restricted to registered users of these systems.

"The recent acquisition of Creo by Eastman Kodak marks a turning point for the user community," says Paul Bartsch, European board member. "The Kodak Prepress & Digital Printing User Community has more than 3,300 members from 78 countries and its conference provides delegates with a chance to be heard as we help define the relationship users will have with the new Kodak Graphic Communications Group."

The conference programme comprises three days of product updates, presentations, workshops, classroom courses, panels, and entry to the Workflow Lab. Attendees will have direct access to senior management, product managers, developers and technical experts and will benefit from previews of upcoming products and initiatives.

The Kodak Prepress & Digital Printing Users Community is a worldwide, independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to "empowering users with the tools and information to make them successful". The organization's explicit mandate is to leverage the experience and knowledge within the member base, maintain a close and collaborative relationship with Kodak and represent member interests in planning.
