Kernow Coatings expands its offering with new dry-erase lamination film

Kernow Coatings’ magic is once again impressing audiences with their new dry-erase technology. The company’s wide format product range KernowJet welcomes another new and innovative solution. KernowJet KlearWipe is a clear PVC-free lamination film for dry-erase applications.

 

Printers and sign makers will enjoy the very well thought out features; It’s thickness of 75µm and stiffness makes it easier to apply than other dry-erase laminates. KlearWipe is extremely durable and scratch resistant making it easy to handle and reassuring that it wont be damaged during lamination. Highly transparent and with a special permanent adhesive it will laminate over all kind of prints, even UV-cured inks, and available in widths up to 1524mm.

 

End-users will love the benefits; the film has been tested with a wide range of water-based, solvent and acetone-based markers, KernowJet KlearWipe passes all the tests! No pearling of the inks when writing, and perfect erasability leaving no ink residue even after a long delay. Even permanent markers can be cleaned off with alcohol without damaging the film. Dry erase surfaces start to look tatty once they have been scratched and the ink imbeds inside the scratch. Due to it’s incredible scratch resistance KernowJet KlearWipe is the perfect solution for long term dry-erase surfaces.

 

This product is perfect for whiteboard and blackboard lamination for use in schools, offices, meeting rooms, convention centres. To create restaurant wall display menus, calendars, production planning and warehouse planning. The material is compliant with the EN Standards: EN71-3 which is necessary for the safety of toys, and is therefore suitable for kids furniture, toys, child’s whiteboard, and more.
