German manufacturer Kama is to launch its multifunctional automatic die cutters into the UK market. The ProCut 74 will be marketed and distributed through Kama UK, a joint venture run by sales and marketing specialist Ian Jones.
Kama UK will be presenting the die cutter at the Komori ‘Facing the Future’ workshop in Leeds during October 9-11 .
Suitable for die cutting, creasing, perforating, kiss cutting or cold embossing - flat and embossed hot foil stamping or die cutting plastics with heated blades, the ProCut 74 processes the half-sheet format most frequently used in the UK. Very short set-up times and fast change-overs between are said to make further processing and finishing of small and mid sized print runs profitable.
