Jarshire launches balers for safe disposal of used cores

22 August 2007

Jarshire has launched a horizontal core baler which, the company says, improves safety and increases efficiency by eliminating the danger of loose or unstable stacks in the work area.

The Jarshire SCB722 (patent pending) baler processes cores as they are generated. The 2800 x 610 x 610mm baling chamber has the capacity to bale one core or several simultaneously. With a system pressure of 3,000psi and ram face pressure of 8 bar, 15-20 cores can be compressed into a compact, high density 762 x 914 x 1,525mm bale.

The SCB722 has a footprint area of 5,840 x 1,270mm and allows the loading of cores directly into the baling chamber. Jarshire says the unit exceeds all current EU/CE safety regulations.
