Delpro and Jarshire have co-operated to supply two differential rewind shafts capable of handling 12in reels.to a major UK converter. Made of steel, the Svecom 650 PLF cantilevered shafts have a total length of 3m, body length of 1.7m, and weigh 500kg. They will handle reels up to a maximum weight of 1,200kg, are designed to suit 302 ID cores, and have six positioning ledges, six friction ledges and six plastics ledges to facilitate easy reel removal. Inflation is by rotary union. The customer is said to be delighted with the performance of the shafts within its machine.
