Spanish producer of siliconised release liner Industrias de Transformación de Andoain (ITASA) has installed a new BMB 1.65m width coater, capable of running at 800m/min. It brings the company’s coating capacity to four machines, supported by advanced automatic silicone mixing. Also new is a slitter rewinder capable of slitting narrow width rolls down to 20mm.
In addition, ITASA is currently completing a major extension to its building in Andoain, to create a total of 6,500m2 of dedicated raw material and finished goods storage – an increase of nearly 50%. Together with the new machinery, this represents a €20 million investment.
