IPI expands seminar programme

24 April 2007

The International Packaging Institute has introduced 27 seminars covering all aspects of the packaging process, from the choice of the base material to the presentation on the shelf. Presented by industry and academic experts, the new seminars are grouped into six modules: Systematics in Packaging; Business Administration and Management; Packaging Systems; Technologies Relevant to Packed Goods; Best Practice; and Ecology and Sustainability.

Companies can choose which modules or courses they want, and the IPI can also provide customized courses whose format, duration and number of participants is tailored precisely to individual requirements. These can be held either at the institute’s training facilities or in the customer’s own premises.

Flagship of the IPI programme is the Master of Engineering in Packaging Technology course. It is intended to enable graduates to assume leading roles in international companies in the industry. The current course runs through to February, 2009. The next will start in March, 2008.

Technical and strategic consulting services are also available from the IPI.
