Ipex expanding

3 December 2004

To meet exhibitor demand for additional space and accommodate new features at Ipex 2006, organizer IIR Exhibitions has secured tenancy of Hall 20 at Birmingham's NEC. The new hall will replace Hall 10 to generate a further 6,000m2 of floor space as an extension to the pre-press area of the show. With over 250 exhibitors already committed to the event, which will run from April 4-11, 2006, more than 70 per cent of the available space has now been sold.

"We are extremely encouraged by the demand for space at Ipex 2006 so far," says Louisa Theobald, sales director at IIR. "This highlights the renewed optimism in the print industry and a desire to showcase products that are best in class. Hall 20 will provide visitors with an exciting mix of product development and market intelligence through the cutting edge technology on show. Bespoke zones focusing on areas such as MIS, large format and paper will highlight how business innovations are affecting all areas of the print industry."
