French envelope printer and finisher Ghesquières has installed one of Xeikon’s new ThermoFlexx digital imagers for flexo and letterpress platemaking. As well as delivering productivity gains by eliminating the need for film and labour, the ThermoFlexx is said to offer significant improvements in print quality, faster turnaround time and increased capacity.
Unveiled at Drupa 2012, the ThermoFlexx is claimed to produce high quality digital flexo and letterpress plates consistently at resolutions of 2,540 or 5,080dpi.
