There will a strong international representation at the UK based Interplas 2008 plastics and rubber show, according to organizer Reed Exhibitions. Among the overseas exhibitors already confirmed are Meilian Chemical, of China, and Sikora, of Germany, both of whom will be exhibiting for the first time, Vecoplan, also of Germany, Italian company Sella and US firm Kenrich Petrochemicals.

“In terms of plastics materials and processes, the UK continues to be a major player,” says exhibition director Liz Finlay. “Interplas therefore provides the ideal opportunity to showcase the very latest developments to a knowledgeable audience keen to maintain differentiation in a competitive global market.”

Interplas 2008 runs from September 30-October, 2008, at the NEC, Birmingham. It will offer a wide range of products and machinery covering every aspect of plastics manufacturing, from raw materials and supply to ancillary and capital equipment.

The event will also incorporate the Inspex feature, which focuses on the quality control and measurement industries, and will run alongside the PPMA Show processing and packaging machinery exhibition.
