Innovation award for Kodak

20 May 2009

Kodak’s Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic System has won the 2009 Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) Technical Innovation Award. The award recognises companies that have developed new or improved innovative technology and printing techniques.

The product is said to offer previously unachievable offset class, gravure quality printing on a wide variety of substrates and helps ensure stability and repeatability, both in prepress and on press.

John Cross, general manager of packaging products and prepress solutions at Kodak, says: “Kodak brings a wealth of knowledge and market insight to its family of flexo platemaking solutions, and to be recognized by one of the industry’s premier associations speaks to the quality, efficiency, and productivity we’ve been able to deliver to customers with the Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic System.”
