Inkjet sheet numbering device

18 November 2014

Manroland Sheetfed has co-operated with German industrial marking and coding device manufacturer Rea Jet to launch a new inkjet sheet numbering device that is set at the suction tapes feed board.

The new device will print each individual sheet with its own unique number or marks. Working in conjunction with the InlineInspector 2.0, it records the sheet number and highlights any problems in the defect protocol (instead of the tab insert). Defective sheets can then be easily separated and errors accurately identified. As well as reducing the amount of waste and production cost, product quality and productivity is increased.

Manroland Sheetfed says "a well-known German print company" will be the first customer to install the new sheet numbering device in December.
