GRE Engineering Products, exclusive European distributor of VIPColor print engines for short runs, is to supply the Jetrion 3025 inkjet system and Jetrion inks.
Explains Rolf Reichle, managing director of GRE: "The Jetrion 3025 enables us to offer our customers a complete solution, including high quality variable bar codes, numbers and text, all on common and special substrates, and at press speeds." Jetrion LLC president Dr Kenneth Stack adds: "GRE's distribution channels in Europe and their experience with challenging ticket and label applications are exactly the qualities Jetrion looks for in a partner."
Starting at 61mm with one printhead, and designed to incorporate multiple printheads for wider applications, the monochrome Jetrion 3025 system delivers 316dpi resolution, at speeds up to 77m/min with UV inks, and up to 123m/min with solvent inks. This combination of features is said to meet the demands of the label and packaging markets, as well as commercial printing and publishing.
GRE has integrated a Jetrion 3025 on a Mark Andy 2200 at its demo facility in Boston, UK, where Open House demonstrations are a regular feature.
