Indigo into Israel

12 March 2010

To meet customers' demands for high-quality, short run labels, Israeli label converter S Lerner has invested in an HP Indigo WS6000 digital press. Supporting substrates from 12-450 micron, the press will provide the capabilities to produce flexible packaging, shrink sleeves and folding cartons.

A family-owned company, founded in 1978, Akko based Lerner offers both flexo and digital services, the WS6000 is the company's first investment in HP Indigo technology. The new HP Indigo press offers versatile label production and can reliably match 97% of the Pantone Colour range. It has top speed of 30m/min. It is driven by an HP SmartStream labels and packaging print server, powered by Esko Artwork,

Since its installation in January, the new equipment has been used to process a large volume of jobs.
