IMS TECHNOLOGIES expands its activities and dedicates new resources to the development of American markets

IMS TECHNOLOGIES vision is about being the world's leading player in the design and production of machines for the primary and converting industries and to be recognized as an excellence in terms of quality, innovative spirit and cutting-edge technologies. In the USA, this vision was expressed, in the first instance, with the start-up of the new branch IMS TECHNOLOGIES Inc, based in Trenton (NJ), and focused on sales and after-sales assistance to the American market for the GOEBEL IMS, LAEM IMS, ROTOMAC, DELTAMATIC and KASPER brands.
Given the great success and appreciation obtained from the American customers, the Group decided to further invest in the USA mainland, strengthening its organization. Therefore, starting from September 1st 2020, IMS TECHNOLOGIES Group is pleased to welcome Mr. Peter H. Hoffmann as Business Development Film Vice President for GOEBEL IMS brand, to further enhance its wide portfolio of slitting and rewinding machines able to process nearly all materials, including a slitter rewinder for plastic films with an impressive working width of 11m and a slitting speed of up to 1500m/min. Peter Hoffmann has decades of experience in the plastic film industry in North America. Besides his deep knowledge in converting equipment, he has also an important insight of the complete film production process, since he has worked for many years for one of the leading supplier of bi-oriented film stretching lines. In his new role, Peter will report directly to Marino Ferrarese, Group Sales & Marketing Director, collaborating with Tobias Lanksweirt, Sales Director for the Film business unit and Maurens Amaral Gomes, Sales Manager Americas. "The arrival of Peter Hoffman, a specialist with consolidated experience in the plastic film sector, will give a further significant boost to the development and penetration activities in the North American markets; we are sure that this new member of the team will be appreciated by our customers for his in-depth knowledge of the market and products” says Marino Ferrarese. “We therefore warmly welcome Peter to GOEBEL IMS team and to the large IMS TECHNOLOGIES family”.
