A ‘revolutionary new process metallic colour printing system has been launched by USA company Color-Logic.
The Process Metallic Color System is an integrated process which is initiated at the design stage and provides colour control through the printing process. The designer selects reference colours from Color-Logic metallic colour guides that are printed, under standard printing conditions, using known stocks and inks.
It is claimed that this eliminates the necessity of matching colour guides that were printed on different stock or with different inks. Color-Logic’s system fits directly into existing workflows at both the designer and the printer, and does not require any special hardware or machinery.
