Owners of Wrapmatic GRM folio-size ream wrappers can now order several modernisation program modules from manufacturer Pemco. More than 300 machines installed worldwide since 1982 can be upgraded by implementing one of the 13 different TIP modules.
Each module provides improved machine performance for increased production up-time, reduction of maintenance and improvement of product quality.
The first TIP module, a replacement of the Siemens S5 PLC to a Siemens S7 PLC, has already been sold to a customer in Japan and will be installed next month. Pemco says, the Siemens S5 PLC replacement is currently in high demand by customers worldwide.
