ICE packs in new exhibitors

22 January 2007

With new exhibiting companies from across Europe signing up, ICE 2007, the International Converting Exhibition (March 27-29, Munich), will be the converting industry’s largest ever dedicated European based trade show. More than 250 manufacturers and suppliers from 15 different countries have confirmed participation, says organizer nimble shows & media.

ICE 2007 show director Michael Boyle summarised: “Even now in January new exhibitors are still signing up on a daily basis. The level of enthusiasm being expressed in the show is not only promising as far as visitors to ICE are concerned, but also underlines an upbeat mood of optimism across the industry.”

New recruits to a 40 plus slitting and rewinding sector include Comexi Proslit (Spain), Reglass HT (Italy), Durham Duplex (UK), DMT Chognard (France) and FWT Wickeltechnik (Austria).

According to nimble, the show is proving equally attractive to coating and laminating equipment suppliers. Valco-Cincinnati has rejoined after a six-year absence, and UK sales director Bob Garner confirms: “There aren’t too many other shows that are so product specific as ICE. It identifies a clear market need.”
