Organizer nimble shows & media says ICE 2007 – the International Converting Exhibition – is well on course towards meeting its 25 per cent growth target by the time the three-day event opens in Munich on March 27, 2007. Over 180 companies from 15 different countries have already confirmed their participation, and a further 100 suppliers are expected to have joined by the end of the year, with the show extending across four exhibition halls to meet the increased demand for space.

“We’ve brought the show forward to new spring dates to alleviate any potential conflict within the overall European calendar of events, and in consequence industry response is proving to be extremely positive,” says show director Michael Boyle. “Whilst support for the event from its established core of suppliers is as solid as ever, the interest being shown by first time exhibitors is particularly encouraging.”

Exhibitors showing at ICE 2007 for the first time include web cleaning specialist Hildebrand Systeme, die cutting supplier Hawkes Technical, inspection companies OCS and Vitronic, roller suppliers AR Walzen and Böttcher Systems, and adhesives company Novamelt.

Michael Boyle adds: “We’re also aiming to build upon the numbers of international visitors to the show by facilitating a planned programme of prospective buyer groups from key European markets. Our visitor marketing campaign will include established and popular features such as the ICE Innovation Awards, a highly focused technical conference, the traditional ICE party and a range of free on-site entertainment.”

ICE 2007 takes place from 27-29 March 2007, at the MOC, in Munich.
