"Klein aber fein" is how exhibition director Michael Boyle sums up the International Converting Exhibition (ICE 2003). "It will be a small show, but focused on converting rather than print. Converters visiting will have plenty of time to get round all the stands." He continued: "There will be nowhere to hide at ICE. So old technology just won't wash."
Target number of stands is 150 spread over two halls in Munich's MOC from November 18-20. "We believe that one hall will be accounted for by Easter," he told Converting Today confidently. And he sees the exhibition as an important place for conducting business to business between exhibitors. "It will be a real meeting point for the industry with plenty of networking, so it will provide an ideal setting for say US companies looking for German speaking representatives and agents."
The new management team has put together an entirely new database for the third ICE. "We are looking to attract up to 5,000 visitors this time round. Our newsletters will have a circulation of around 50,000 and we will also make use of advertising, direct mail and email marketing," he reports.
