The Spanish factory of Nordenia International has received DIN EN 15593 (Management of hygiene in the production of packaging for foodstuffs) certification. Nordenia Iberica, at Barcelona, manufactures packaging for the food, hygiene, cosmetic, and detergent industries.
In total, with the sites in Gronau, Halle, Steinfeld, and Barcelona, four subsidiaries in the Nordenia Group are now certified according to this hygiene norm. The company says it expects its sites at Osterburken (Germany), Poznan (Poland), Szada (Hungary) and Pereslavl (Russia), to follow suit.
