In response to increasing demand for low migration inks for food packaging, the Hubergroup is expanding production for MGA inks at its site near Munich. The ink bases, formerly produced at the company's subsidiary in Ireland, will from now be made at Michael Huber München, where they can be finished to form process colour and spot colour inks.
The production of MGA water-based coatings, characterised by a special material composition and by their GMP compliance, has also been expanded.
