HP Indigo twice at Tamar

15 January 2008

UK based Tamar Labels has purchased a second HP Indigo digital press, a ws4500, to print high quality, short run labels for smaller companies. Tamar specializes in producing customized standard, selfadhesive and security labels for a wide range of customers at its site in Tavistock.

“The new ws4500 will complement our first digital press and our conventional capabilities,” notes Robert Lee, the company’s sales director. “We have an integrated MIS system that works seamlessly with the digital presses, to ensure total control and efficiency throughout the sales, prepress, workflow, despatch and invoicing processes.”

The HP Indigo machine is capable of producing high quality, cost effective labels using a variety of substrates. The seven colour press uses liquid based HP ElectroInk to achieve the widest possible colour gamut, said to ensure colour consistency and optimum print quality. Its versatility is said to allow Tamar Labels to meet its customers’ requirements quickly and efficiently.

“HP technology and support services have been vital for the growth of our company and have helped us become one the UK’s fastest growing narrow web label producers,” affirms Robert Lee.
