Web converting machinery manufacturer Henderson Engineering and Eskay Holographic have jointly set up a showroom and testing facility for their range of holographic origination and production machinery.
Henderson reports considerable success in the holographic equipment market, including a full turnkey project to the Chinese Banking and Minting Corp to supply equipment to produce a holographic stripe on the Chinese currency. More recently the company won an award at Holopack 2005 for the best new holographic technique, for its dual hot and cold embossing machine.
Director Graeme Jones explains: “Despite our considerable success in the holographic market, the need for us to have a purpose built machine for R&D, testing and exhibiting purposes was clear. When the new showroom is complete we will have somewhere to exhibit our full range of equipment to customers and trial their material to assess its suitability.”
The new facility, based near Eskay’s headquarters at Rotherwick, will be ready in August.
