Outstanding repeat accuracy for packaging gravure cylinders is claimed for CellEye, Hell Gravure Systems’ new calibration method for HelioKlischograph systems. The volume oriented measuring process using CellEye records the exact geometry of the engraving cell and takes into account the real stylus angle and stylus wear. A further new feature enables users to monitor the highlights, midtones, and shadows separately from each other.
