A Polar heavy duty guillotine system installed by Fix-a-Form leaflet label producer Denny Brothers is its first with full materials handling. The new line at the company's Bury St Edmunds, UK, plant comprises a model 137XT guillotine with jogger, stacker and Transomat unloading systems.
"We already have two Polar guillotines but this is our debut with materials handling," says managing director Barry Denny. In replacing one of the older cutting machines, and with materials handling, we expect a net productivity increase of at least 20 per cent."
