Gravure boost for CMM show

25 June 2004

A new Pavilion and Solutions Theater at CMM 2005 will focus on the world of gravure printing. Launched by CMM International and the Packaging and Label Gravure Association, it is the latest in a series of process focused areas that will be featured at the world's leading converting event in Chicago, next April 18-21.

Consisting of a number of booths built around a central PLGA hospitality area, the new pavilion is designed to serve as a "one-stop-shopping" oasis within the show where more than 22,000 buyers from around the world can experience all that is new and innovative in the gravure marketplace. An adjacent Gravure Solutions Theater will enable PLGA exhibiting members to showcase their latest products and technologies during 30min presentations throughout the four-day show. In addition to the pavilion, many PLGA members will also exhibit independently in larger booths throughout the show.

The PLGA Pavilion joins the FTA Label & Folding Carton Solutions Pavilion and an expanded AIMCAL Coating & Laminating Solutions Pavilion as special features at the show. A Digital Workflow Solutions Pavilion, and various country-specific and other special pavilions and Solution Theaters are also planned.

The PLGA will offer conference sessions in the Theater and as part of the overall CMM Conference Programme.
