UK based UV curing system specialist GEW (EC) has invested in a substantial increase of GEW Inc, its North American operation, in Cleveland, Ohio, which serves the US market, Canada, Mexico and South America.
"We recently doubled the size of our facility to grow the office space to 164m2 and the warehouse to 105m2," states Brian Wenger, vice president. "The expansion enables us to stock fully complete UV curing systems and spares, and we now have a complete test facility with the ability to refurbish our equipment."
The American operation is currently staffed with an office manager fluent in Spanish, and two experienced service engineers with a third now being sought.
David Horton, sales director of GEW in the UK, comments: "Our USA customer portfolio is a mix between OEM press manufacturers and retrofitting systems with end users. The expansion means we can now offer a wider level of customer service and support."
