The recently released Version 4.7 of the GMG ColorServer and GMG InkOptimizer colour management software, and the update of the GMG SmartProfiler 1.5 profiling and calibration tool, are said to offer greater user-friendliness and maximum production reliability.
The most important improvements are: the GMG Hotfolder Creation Wizard helps when creating new hotfolders; new Web Interface for colour management across multiple locations; Ink Saving Report for improved cost control; extended integration of GMG PrintControl for full process control; several wizards facilitate profile creation; flexible handling of spot colours; and remote applications possible for GMG ColorServer/SmartProfiler.
