Paper and packaging suppler Unirep and the Flint Group have established a joint venture - Flint-Unirep Packaging Inks - based in Istanbul, to serve the local packaging market. Turgay Gümus has been appointed general manager of the new operation.
The joint venture will offer a complete service to the growing Turkish packaging ink market from recently installed local blending facilities. It will be supported by dedicated local technical service and local warehousing teams.
Flint-Unirep will be supplying the complete range of Flint Group packaging inks, initially focusing on water based products for the corrugated board, paper sacks and tissue markets.
