At next month’s K show in Düsseldorf, Italian manufacturer Flexotecnica will present its new 10NG 10 colour sleeved gearless flexo press designed to print on wide web widths and for a printing repeat range of 370-900mm. Maximum production speed is 500m/min on a wide range of flexible materials.
This model features consolidated direct drive technology with brushless servo motors and the FNC-3000 computerized print monitoring and management system. The FNC-3000 system employs detailed diagnostic pages, a modem connection and integrated video and audio assistance systems to monitor all press functions and communicate directly with operators worldwide.
Other features of the new press include the Speedy Clean automatic wash-up system; a sleeve ejector to ease the extraction of printing and anilox sleeves; and the SSC (Safe Sleeve Change) system to allow makeready on idle print units while the others are running.
