InterFlex, at Dalkeith, UK, recently purchased its second Flexotecnica N8G eight colour sleeved gearless press. The two machines are identical in specification with the exception of an increased print speed of 500m/min and carbon fibre print and anilox mandrels for the latest model. Other features include shaftless turret winders for automatic splicing, quick release doctor blade chambers, edge guides before printing and rewinding, and the Speedy Clean automatic wash-up system with computer assisted viscosity units.
