Schiavi will launch the EF 5040 10c CI electronic flexo press at an Open House in its Piacenza, production facility on June 22-24, 2005.
According to the Italian company, the EF 5040 is "the best price-performance 10 colour flexo press". It is built around the Universal Deck concept that enables the machine's performance to be configured "to meet the specific requirements of the flexible material printing industry".
Daily demonstrations on the new press will include printing of three different jobs, random deck change and on-board deck washing.
The open house will also provide visitors with the opportunity to view demonstrations on Schiavi's CL 660 Unica multi purpose coater-laminator and sister company Titan's SR8 slitter rewinder.
