Flexo has that feelgood factor

2 December 2002

Flexo printers are optimistic about future business prospects, according to a recent industry survey by Flexo 2003 organizer Reed Exhibitions.

Covering the key sectors of labels, packaging, corrugated and cartons, the survey revealed that 58 per cent of UK respondents plan further investment in flexo printing over the next two years. The optimism is not confined to the UK, as plans for further investment in the rest of Europe and Asia top the 70 per cent mark.

Marketing manager for Flexo 2003 Helen Beckett comments: "These results clearly reflect the priorities of flexo printers who are focusing on achieving efficiency and quality gains throughout the production chain.."

She says the positive mood is shown in the level of bookings for the show, set for March 4-6 at the NEC, Birmingham. Over 100 suppliers are already confirmed for the event, which will include the EFTA awards dinner.
