Flexible packaging focus for Ipex 2006

1 November 2005

A flexible packaging area will be introduced at next year's Ipex show. Located in Hall 1 of the 11-hall exhibition, which runs at the NEC in Birmingham from April 4-11, 2006, it will showcase new technologies and materials for the industry. In addition, a Flexible Packaging Centre of Excellence will host customer and supplier best practice case studies.

Ipex organizer IIR Exhibitions says it has introduced this new feature in response

to flexible packaging's growing importance within the packaging market and the print industry as a whole.

Peter Hall, commercial manager for Ipex 2006 says: "The flexible packaging area has already gained support from a number of press manufacturers, ensuring that visitors will be able to see a wide range of products on display. The Centre of Excellence has also been very well received by exhibitors."
