Production is under way at Roberts Mart's new £8.75M factory in Leeds, believed to be the most modern flexible packaging facility in the UK. A key piece of new equipment is a Fischer & Krecke 26S, 10 colour gearless, sleeved flexo press. Roberts Mart has also acquired a regenerative thermal oxidizer from Enviroxi to deal with the solvent based fumes extracted from its presses. Also new is a CMD high speed polybag machine, along with various peripheral equipment.
The family owned company, now in its sixth generation, is said to be the UK market leader in household textile packaging.
