First Edale Lambda in the UK

14 March 2007

Following two overseas sales, Edale has secured the first UK order for its Lambda 'plug and play' printing and converting system. A “major UK player” in the labelling industry has opted for a large configuration - and offered Edale the use of its facilities to demonstrate the machine to potential customers.

Billed as “bespoke but infinitely flexible”, the Lambda technology allows specification of any conceivable configuration, and its open architecture design is said to enable easy adjustment, reconfiguration and upgrade. The machine can be configured to any single or multiple web paths, enabling the user to run multiple jobs simultaneously.

According to Edale, “exceptional throughput is achieved through the combination of high production speeds, short job change times and ease of use. Applications range from security to medical, RFID to coating - the possibilities are unlimited,” the company boasts.
