Expansion with Xeikon at PeterLynn

19 November 2012

PeterLynn is the latest UK label specialist to invest in Xeikon colour digital printing technology with the purchase of a Xeikon 3030 digital label press. The new purchase coincides with the expansion of the company’s site in Corby: it has acquired an adjacent business unit which is now housing the new digital equipment.

The new Xeikon press is supported by the installation of a multi-function offline Digicon finishing station, capable of providing hotfoil, varnish, lamination and coldfoiling.

PeterLynn sales and marketing manager Vicky Waine comments: “The purchase of the Xeikon machine means that we can offer our customers high quality, short run 4-colour labels without incurring expensive plate and set-up costs. This makes it ideal for the shorter run requirements that are becoming more typical of the market.”

She says the food safe properties of Xeikon’s QA-I toner product were a particular advantage. “This aspect alone opens up the door of a number of food manufacturing companies here in Corby”.
