The recent Labelexpo Europe was the ‘best ever’ for Atlantic Zeiser, according to marketing manager Bernhard Thomma. “We found attendees to be highly qualified and very interested in our capabilities. The show resulted in a number of concrete orders for us.”
Mr Thomma says there was especially strong interest in the Gamma 70 printing module, the company’s new single-pass full-colour UV inkjet technology, which was demonstrated using ‘eco-friendly’ Smartcure LED UV curing modules.
The full-colour Gamma 70 print engine incorporates Xaar 1001 print nozzles to produce ‘stunning’ full colour quality at speeds of up to 24m/min with a high native resolution of 360dpi. It also offers high resolution grayscale printing with a visual appearance of as much as 1,060 dpi.
The system has a print width of 70.5mm and prints on a wide variety of porous and non-porous materials such as plastics and films, metallic foils, board and paper.
Also well received at the show was the Delta 105, a premium print engine with speeds of up to 120m/min with UV, or 150m/min with water-based inks, at a print width of 105 mm and a native print resolution of up to 600dpi.
