Flexo repro house Promopack, in Heanor, UK, reports significant productivity gains and cost savings since installing a CDI Spark 4260 platesetter with Optics 80 from Esko. Promopack specializes in plates for the packaging industry and invested in the platesetter to support the annual production of 15,000m2 of photopolymer plates. "We will be ordering a second machine in the very near future," affirms managing director Mike Baxter. "Our goal is to achieve full digital production."
