At Labelexpo 2009, Epson is launching the Stylus Pro WT7900 printer featuring ‘the world’s first white aqueous ink for packaging proofing and sample production’. Offering precision printing on flexible film, paper and metallics, the printer uses a 9-colour Epson UltraChrome HDR ink set to produce a wide colour gamut and accurate spot colours. The optional Epson SpectroProofer? gives users automatic and precise colour management and control for reliable and consistent proof verification, colour calibration, colour certification, profile creation, spot colour matching, colour shift tracking and target measurement.
